Palterton Primary School is in the village of Palterton, between Chesterfield and Mansfield, 2 miles from Junction 29 of the M1. We serve the Palterton and Hillstown areas, and some of our children travel to school on the school bus.

Our school is a beautiful, brick building erected in 1910, and consists of four classrooms, a small library area, verandah, kitchen and first floor staffroom/office. We are also very proud of our outdoor classroom in the garden, and are in the process of developing our playground area.
